About John Connell
John began djing house in Glasgow and Edinburgh in 1996. In 2000, he relocated to London playing at many bars and clubs before moving to Tokyo. Spinning extensively at house and techno parties in Tokyo over the last four years, he has held residencies at many respected venues like Womb, Yellow and Air, playing with some of the most influential djs and producers in the world, such as Richie Hawtin, Matthew Dear, Ricardo Villalobos and Sven Vath.
