About Johannes Luley
http://johannesluley.com Born in Hamburg, Johannes was raised in Darmstadt, Germany, where he lived until his move to California in 1993. At age 13 he started studying under Jazz guitarist Eddy Marron. In his 20's he established himself as a prolific session player, supporting acts such as German pop singer Ina Deter and Justin Hayward of Moody Blues fame. In California he joined Elton John protégé Ryan Downe's Band "The Hypocrites" with whom he opened for the Who and Iggy Pop amongst others.
