The Premonstratensian musician Franz Joseph Öhlschlägel (born 31 December 1724 in Lahošť, Bohemia; died 22 February 1788 in Prague), who used the religious name Joannes (Johannes) Lohelius within his order. He is described as a Catholic cleric and professional church musician—variously labelled composer, organist, regens chori, and organ builder—whose working life is closely associated with the Strahov Monastery in Prague, where he served as regenschori until his death.
