About Johan Fricks Kapell
Johan Fricks Kapell was a Göteborg based jazz quintet in the nineties. With front man and songwriter Johan Frick (vocals, harmonica), Erik Andersson (bass), Ulf Sjöberg (drums), Anders Ohlsson (guitar, vocals) and Jan Risheden (saxophones - tenor & baritone) they made a few home produced records of their own nostalgic jazz in a 40s swedish style, occasionally very subtly tongue in cheek, but still very honest to the genre. Several of the members are and were active in swedish scifi fandom, translators and writers.
