About Jogit Beat
Jogit Beat aus Aachen spielen Roots Reggae, Rocksteady und Sixties Ska. Dabei orientiert sich die Band sowohl am ursprünglichen Reggae der Sechziger und Siebziger Jahre (Bob Marley & The Wailers, Toots & The Maytals, Skatalites) wie auch am moderneren Sound der Gegenwart (Sublime, The Slackers). Gegründet wurden Jogit Beat im Frühjahr 2000 von Sänger und Gitarrist Sebastian Sturm und Bassist Lars Germann. Zunächst war Jogit Beat ein Akustik-Projekt.
