About Jimi Slevin
Jimi Slevin (born in Dublin 1950) is an Irish guitarist. A member of several bands, he formed Jimi Slevin Band which later became Jimi Slevin & Firefly. He later joined the traditional band Bachelors Walk. He formed blues rock group Crossroads in 1969, then joined Alice in 1970 (changed name to Brogue during an extended stay in New York City in 1972). He returned to Ireland in late 1972 and founded Peggy's Leg. In 1975 he joined Skid Row for 8 months, then founded his own Jimi Slevin Band, which later became Jimi Slevin & Firefly.
