Jhan du Billon (also catalogued as Jhan de Billon; fl. 1534–1556) is one of the least documented names preserved in the 1539 Strasbourg motet anthology printed by Peter Schöffer the Younger. His surviving footprint in the “Mysterious Motet Book” orbit is the five-voice Candlemas motet Postquam impleti sunt dies purgationis Mariæ (indexed as item 18 in modern catalogues), performed and recorded by Siglo de Oro under Patrick Allies in collaboration with scholar-editor Daniel Trocmé-Latter.
