About Jesse Morris and the Man Cougars
The late Jesse Morris was apparently from Pacifica CA but claimed to have started started busking in Oakland when he was about 13, and eventually became a staple at San Francisco's 24th Street BART station. At the urging of others he eventually started his band JESSE MORRIS and THE MAN COUGARS, who released one vinyl LP available here http://evnt.biz/ManCoug , but his career as a suicidal roustabout punk rock version of Johnny Cash ended in his eventual death Sunday, Nov. 6 2011 at the young, but street seasoned age of 27.
