About Jesse Konrad
Jesse Henderson began recording under the nom de band Jesse Konrad following the breakup of Fischer Kings, an indie folk group similar in tone and manner to Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, and -- to a certain extent --Death Cab. Henderson’s solo project took Fischer Kings' introspective, folky sound and garnished it with ramshackle, zany orchestral touches that nodded to Shoe-gazing and the drifty optimism of the Flaming Lips. Henderson moved to Los Angeles the spring following Fischer Kings demise
