About Jeremiah Fraites
Jeremiah Fraites is a musician, composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of The Lumineers. Born and raised in Ramsey, NJ, he demonstrated an early passion for music. His mother recalls that even at the age of 4, Jeremiah played the piano keys delicately and with care. Beethoven was an early influence before he started listening to Guns N’ Roses and Pink Floyd, who his older brother Joshua introduced him to. Tragically, when Jeremiah was 15, Joshua died of a heroin overdose.
