Jensen Merrell was born and raised in N.Y. and N.J. and currently resides in Nashville Tennessee. He is an independent recording artist who records mostly covers of famous Pop/Rock songs, only having a few original songs to his credit. Writing under his real name, J. Baez , Jr., he wrote and recorded the songs, "Waiting, Worrying, Hoping" and "Woe Is Me" and co-wrote another song called "Your Dirty Little Secrets" with singer/songwriter Rick Howard Jr.
