About JEKKS and The Priests of Heka
In the late months of 2009 in the bedroom on JEKKS, The Priests of Heka were formed. A simple lineup of Sitar, Bass and Percussion. As an experiment Hem Netjer of Immrama, the debut EP, was recorded and released at the first practise session. Later to be followed by Lakshana EP, released in January, which introduces guitar and drums into the mix. It was until April at Southern Oracle when The Priests unveiled their new live show, this time introducing ableton live sets and more acoustic instruments into the mix.
