Jeff Cloke is an experimental musician, composer and performer living in London. Born in Torquay in 1947, he was involved in the experimental music scene in the '60s but was not active again until 2002. There are two threads to his performance practice: playing the Bass Recorder (with and without effects), and using effects pedals or (more recently) a laptop for live sampling and multi-channel processing. He is interested in the dramatic possibilities of the performance space acoustics, surround sound, and spectral effects.
