Growing up in tiny Rockglen, Saskatchewan didn't open much of a window on the music scene, but there was always oldies on a.m. radio and Neil Young on the cassette tape in her dad's pick-up truck. Eventually, there was dial-up Internet. A few years later she found herself in a van with a Saskatoon band, driving half way across Canada. This prairie kid has now toured across the country to play for everyone from art school aesthetes to old folks, either solo or opening for the Saskatoon collective Slow Down, Molasses or Regina's Library Voices.
