About Jeanette Wrate
Jeanette was born on July 30th, 1952 in Santa Ana, CA. Her musical studies began at age seven when she started playing violin in the school orchestra. At age fifteen, Jeanette found herself attracted to the world of percussion, especially the drumset. At this time, she began teaching herself by listening and playing along with records. Jeanette’s formal training began at the age of 18 when she decided to study privately and to make drumming her career.
