He crafts songs of ineffable beauty wrapped in shadows. His style ranges from folk to country to sixties-flavoured, punk-influenced rock. His role models are outsider authors (Salinger, Blake, Selby, Roth, Wilde) and songwriters with a lyrical bent (Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Jim Morrison).
