About Jason Grote

Jason Grote (b. 1971) is a playwright based in Brooklyn, NY. He also writes and produces radio plays, and is the co-host of The Acousmatic Theater Hour on WFMU. His plays include 1001, Maria/Stuart, Hamilton Township, This Storm Is What We Call Progress, Darwin's Challenge, and Box Americana. They have been produced throughout the United States and internationally, and have been published by Samuel French, Playscripts Inc., and in The Back Stage Book of New American Short Plays.
