Info about "First Take": "First Take" is an attempt to capture a few of my songs in a stripped down raw format. I thought "First Take" would be an appropriate title for the album given that it’s my first shot at a solo album. I basically went into the studio, sat down and played through the material live on the first take. The album is littered with mistakes, storytelling and emotion. My goal wasn’t to record another over produced traditional studio album, just to capture something genuine (for better or worse).
