Janina rose to fame when she won the first season of Objetivo Fama, a singing talent contest held in Puerto Rico. In 2005, Janina released her first album titled Todo De Mí. The album was pretty successful and Janina performed heavily throughout the island. In 2006, she released her second album titled Contra La Corriente with the hit single of the same title.
