By placing metal and other various objects on her guitar strings, Feder manipulates a combination of normally pitched songs with 'prepared ones' in her compositions for the classical guitar and dobro as both solo instruments and in ensemble with prepared pedal harp, voice, clarinet, bass and percussion instruments.
