About James Ragbone
Born in Hammersmith, London in 1975, James grew up in South East London. He started singing with a Blues band made up of school friends called The Mean Harpoon at the age of seventeen. James took his singing influences from the old greats, honeing down his style in the dives and backroom bars of Portugal. Excessive whiskey drinking and ciggerettes, gave him the sound he was looking for. Now his voice has been compared on numerous occassions to the likes of Richie Havens
