James Purefoy is a famous British actor born on 3 June 1964 in Taunton, UK. He was raised in Somerset near Yeovil, England along with his two older sisters and a younger brother. He was sent to Sherborne Boarding School, where he completed only one O-Level. However, he joined night school and later completed eleven O-Levels. At the age of 16, James Purefoy left school and then worked in a pig farm and as a porter in Yeovil District Hospital. At the age of 18, James Purefoy attended college to take A-Level exams, which included an exam on Drama.
