Born in Nablus, Palestine, Jameel (or Jamil) Sayeh (or Al-Sayah, Al-Sayih) is an oud player, singer and songwriter who has brought a lot to the Palestinian music scene. Recognized nationally, Jameel Sayeh is also a real talent scout, and a specialist in Palestinian song. Jameel began his artistic career in the 1970s, with engaging songs generally revolving around the theme of freedom. He founded the Al-Rahalah group in 1980, with which he toured through Palestine.
