Jakob Scheiffelhut (May 19, 1647 in Augsburg, † July 2, 1709 in Augsburg) was a German musician and composer of the Baroque era. Jakob Scheiffelhut received his musical training in the Augsburg choir of St. Anna with Tobias Kriegsdorfer (1608–1686). He received lessons in “playing an instrument ” from a town piper.
