About Jakob Kremberg
Jakob Kremberg (1650-c.1718) was a Polish/German composer of the Baroque era. He was born in Warsaw and as as lutenist and alto he worked in Leipzig , Stockholm, Hamburg, Leiden and Halle. He was also a musician in the service of the Elector of Saxony. He published a collection of guitar music including some of his own publications in Dresden in 1689 and "A collection of easy and familiar aires" in 1710. It appears that he spent some time in the Netherlands, living in the Province of South Holland.
