About Jail House Rockers
The Jail House Rockers formed in early 2003. Bassist Russ and drummer Tony's punk band The Oddities was on it's last legs. They were both tired of playing in garage punk bands that went nowhere. Having decided on more of a rock and roll sound with some blues influence, they were off and running. Russ and Tony by themselves recorded 10 songs, mostly original with an old 4-Track in Tony's garage. Russ played guitar, bass, and sang all the songs, Tony on drums.
