About Jahni Omen
Jahni Omen was a short-lived DIY horror rap alter-ego solo project done between the years 2004-2006 in Chicago by Calvin Chaos, who was also in Chicago's only Black punk rock band (at the time) The Haterz, and the underground industrial project Watusi Death . The backstory is fictional and it goes a little something like this: "One night digging around in his great aunt's attic, a 12 year-old Jahni found an old, hand-written book of voodoo spells scrawled in the dusty pages.
