About Jacques De Coning
Hendrik Theo Jacques de Coning (5 August 1966 – 9 June 2019) was an Afrikaans singer who was best known for his cheerful rendition of famous FAK songs. Jacques de Coning started his Afrikaans songwriting career in 1998 when he wrote a song for the Griekwa rugby team. He gained fame with his album Afrikaans my trots , which achieved gold status with the sale of more than 100,000 copies. Jacques de Coning died on Sunday morning 9 June 2019 at around 10:30 in a car accident.
