About Jackie and the Rippers
Jackie and the Rippers are a western sydney band that merrily combines indie pop, pop, punk, blues and grunge. It all started in the early summer of 2010 when Tara and Luke, who had been playing sporadically together the two years previous, decided to make it official and thus the Rippers were born.They went onto play their first show as "Jackie and the Rippers" with an acoustic guitar and a drum kit and both singing at various points of the set.
