Karyagdy was one of the prominent singers of his time in Azerbaijan. He participated in concerts and meetings along with the tar players Sadygdjan, Mirza Faradj and kamancha player Meshedi Gulu. In 1905 he created a trio with the tar player G.Pirimov and kamancha player S.
