About Itou Shouhei
Shohei Itou (伊藤 祥平) was born on July 31, 1989, in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture. Influenced by his friend, he started playing the guitar at the age of 10. His big influence was also Eric Clapton, whose roots Itou wanted to explore. Other than that, R’n’B, soul and jazz fascinated him (artists such as Luther Vandross, Ray Charles, David T Walker and Raurumidon). He used self-taught techniques to express the themes of the importance of having dreams, irreplaceable friends, and his unforgettable hometown.
