A great little set of grooves. Features work from three sound library sources – Ivan Basilio/Alessandro Alessandroni, The Pawnshop (featuring Eraldo Volonte), and Joy Unlimited, a band who was known more for their proggy rock, but who check in fine here with some nice funky numbers from 1972! There's a lot of guitar interplay in the tracks – from mod groovy 60s guitar, to spacey sitar, to slick electric funky bass – and although a lot of the tracks are funky, there's about an equal emphasis on melody and rhythm.
