About Irmelin
Irmelin is an a cappella ensemble from Sweden. As of 2006, their line-up was following: Karin Ericsson Back, Malin Foxdal, Maria Misgeld. The three singers perform both solo and backing parts, creating unusual versions of traditional songs and making own versions of well-known compositions. Their first CD Kärligheten ("The Tenderness", Swedish "kärlighet" being a somewhat archaic word) consists mostly of traditional songs and even dance tunes. Irmelin have performed on many traditional music festivals in Sweden and abroad.
