About Into Orbit
Into Orbit is a post-rock/post-metal duo from Wellington, New Zealand. Their instrumental music is characterised by aspects of rock, metal, soundscapes, ambient, noise and drone. Formed in early 2013 by guitarist Paul Stewart and drummer Ian Moir, they soon began performing live and writing for their debut album Caverns which was self-released in August 2014. Caverns was self-recorded between August 2013 and May 2014, mixed by James Goldsmith of Blue Room Studios and mastered by Mike Gibson at Munki Mastering.
