About Inner Makam
Inner Makam is the holdover of T.h.y.m. of Loss (The Holy Yearning Mourners of Loss), a band formed by Takis at Ioannina, Greece, back to 2000, which combined atmospheric metal with brutal vocals providing two demos: “Internal Strife” (2004) and “The Last Journey” (2005). From the very beginning of the band it was obvious that T.h.y.m. of Loss tended to be more epic than atmospheric… Thus, in November 2005 T.h.y.m. of Loss embodied Eugene on vocals and the group was named Inner Makam changing its musical style too.
