
Inga Nova was born in the South, the last of five children of Texas native parents. Growing up she was infused with the roots music of the South as well as the mainstream and underground music of the sixties and seventies. “I picked up the guitar in 1974 and wrote my first song about six months later. I have had many a hiatus from my music throughout the years, but I always return home like a long lost migratory bird. Music has always been a survival tool for me, both in my own, and in others.
