About Infidels
1) The original Infidels are from Youngstown, Ohio. The band started one day in late June 1982, when a virtual inseparable pair of 15 year olds, John Hlumyk and Pete Drivere, decided to start the first and (arguably) the last punk rock band in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infidels_%28band%29 Infidels were also a Canadian funk-rock band in the 1990s. “…The label wanted them to change their name, due to the existence of The Infidels from Youngstown, Ohio who proved ownership of the name.”
