Place: Ashkelon, Israel Illegal Mind began in the rehearsal rooms of Tel Aviv in 2018, when Maxx Dee gathered a rotating cast of musicians to explore a shared obsession with heavy riffs and dystopian visions. What started as noisy jams in cramped studios became the debut album Forbidden Content (2020) — a first transmission of Illegal Mind’s blend of alternative metal, punk rock, and post-apocalyptic grit. By 2021, the band had distilled into a one-man operation.
