About Idle Rites
IDLE RITES is a post-punk band based in Vancouver, B.C. Featuring former and current members of countless area bands including Erosion, Sharp Teeth and Golden Phoenix, IDLE RITES came together in 2017 to work on songs written by guitarist Rick O’Dell (Erosion, Tobeatic). They began to play shows in and around Vancouver with friends Baptists, Waingro, PASSIVE, Brutal Poodle, and Störc, among others, and soon had enough songs to record a full-length album.
