About Ida Alanen Trio
Ida Alanen (b. 1994) is a young generation pianist and composer from Helsinki, Finland. She is currently based in Amsterdam, completing her master studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam under the instruction of Harmen Fraanje and Karel Boehlee. For the past three years Ida has been leading her own group, Ida Alanen Trio, which was formed in Covid-time and has worked together closely ever since. With the support of The Finnish Cultural Foundation the trio recorded their debut album Awake Asleep.
