The name "I was a bastard" was given to the band by it's first drummer in an attempt to define the lead singer's character. With this name he also managed to capture the intriguing depths of this group. The band was founded in 2011 by the guitar player, singer, composer and producer Nave Shifroni who grew out of the northern Israel music scene. the members of the band are: Klyl Shifroni (bass) Michael yitzhaki (drums) and Or Dromi (synths). The band's first album "Free"
