I Drove A Tank geeft sinds 2007 op geheel eigen wijze betekenis aan het woord 'rammelrock'. Het Antwerpse kwartet speelt in een klassieke rockopstelling (bas, drum, gitaren, zang), met een occasionele cameo voor de trompet. Haar naam plukte de groep uit een nummer van Robert Pollard, patroonheilige van miskende songschrijvers. Op haar huidige 'Tour des bars' hield I Drove A Tank al halt in menige bruine kroeg. Verder was de groep dit jaar te gast op de nationale Nacht van de Jeugdbeweging.
