
About Hugo Race Fatalists
Hugo Race is an Australian, Singer-songwriter, who started in the Aussie Punk band Plays With Marionettes, was a founding member of Nick Cave's Bad Seeds (from 1984-1985, featuring as one of the two guitarists, along with Blixa Bargeld, on their debut album "From Her To Eternity" and the world tour to follow. In 1985, Race left the Bad Seeds and Berlin, returned to Melbourne and formed swamp/ swing band The Wreckery, whose 2008 retrospective, "Past Imperfect", makes much of their long out of print work available again.
