The Hubei Orchestra of Chinese Bells, which is known under various other Western translations of its Chinese name such as Hubei Bronze Chime Bells Traditional Chinese Orchestra, is part of the Hubei Province Opera and Dance Theatre. What is remarkable about the orchestra, besides its talent, is that it uses ancient bronze bells exhumed from the tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State, dating back to 433 BC. Some of the bells are considerably older still, having been dated at between 2000 to 3600 years old.
