Formed in November of 1996, The band began writing and rehearsing for the next 6-7 months before heading to Zax Trax studios in Frederick, Maryland, where in just three days, they recorded and mixed 'Steal This CD,' which was released in January 1998. A year and a half later, with regional airplay helping the first CD reach a sold out status, found them in the studio again, this time recording their second independent release entitled 'Evolve.'
