About Hot Rod Rebels
Hot Rod Rebels began in 1998 in a garage in the high deserts north of Los Angeles. A mixed bag of influences included The Clash, X, Johnny Cash, and the Replacements. Raw and rugged, the H. R. Rebels steered country, rockabilly and punk straight into a head-on collision in their performances. The Hot Rod Rebels released two CDs, "The Detonators" and "Light Em Up," for Rank Outsiders Records, and had a featured track on a psychobilly compilation CD for the Terror 45 Label.
