About Horde Catalytique Pour La Fin
Horde Catalytique Pour La Fin were an obscure avant-garde French band who managed only one album, the improvisational Gestation Sonore. However, Steven Stapleton included them on the infamous Nurse With Wound list, which has given them some notoriety in avant-garde circles. Their name, which translates roughly to Catalytic Horde for the End, should give you some indication of their sound: structures are entirely absent, lost in a whirlwind of drums, percussion, and tortured saxophone.
