About Hope Diane Davis
Hope Diane "The Flash" Davis was born a poor black boy in the depths of Mississippi in the year 1908. On her 9th birthday, her parents scrounged up all the money they could to buy her a 3 string guitar. She had already mastered it by the time she graduated middle school. In her late teens, she formed an anarcho folk-jazz band called The Hard Bops. Despite not making much money, they released 7 LPs, a split with The Beatles, and a split with Cannibal Corpse.
