About Hooked on Blues
Siggi Fassl born in 1966 in Vienna, Austria & self-taught guitarist. As a teenager, Siggi was influenced by Rock n' Roll & Country music. By cruising around in the clubs in Vienna, he discovered the Blues "life" by listening to Al Cooke & Erik Trauner. At age 19 he had his first stage &appearance & 2 years later he became the lead singer of the Rockability band "The Torpedos". Besides playing as a soloist where he can show his great talent as a Country Blues artist, he is also a wonderful performer as a band musician.
