About Hookdiggy
Hookdiggy, first picked up his first pen to write a rhyme back in 1991 after being influenced by The Dayton Family (TDF) when they released an independent tape of their music in his birthplace of Flint, MI. To him, TDF set the trend for the independent artist. Watching them go from a studio tape, to an out of the trunk release was admirable to him, and so he began to write. He donned the term Lyrical Nerd Boy, calling himself a nerd growing up and blending his love of hip-hop to coin the phrase.
